Doctor Biography:

Dr. Ershadul Haque Rahat is an experienced Eye Specialist and Surgeon with expertise in the diagnosis and treatment of a wide range of ophthalmic conditions. He is currently serving as a Junior Consultant at the National Institute of Ophthalmology & Hospital, Sher-e-Bangla Nagar, Dhaka. He is committed to providing comprehensive eye care through modern diagnostic methods and advanced surgical techniques.

Dr. Rahat completed his MBBS from Dhaka and joined the Bangladesh Civil Service (BCS) Health Cadre. He subsequently earned his Master of Surgery (MS) in Ophthalmology, strengthening his expertise in the diagnosis, medical management, and surgical treatment of various eye diseases.

Throughout his professional career, Dr. Rahat has been actively involved in clinical practice, providing specialized care for patients with common and complex ophthalmic disorders. His experience at the National Institute of Ophthalmology & Hospital has enabled him to develop strong clinical skills in comprehensive eye examinations, disease management, and modern surgical care.

His areas of special interest include General Ophthalmology and Phaco (Cataract) Surgery. He is dedicated to delivering personalized, evidence-based treatment while utilizing the latest advancements in ophthalmology to help patients achieve the best possible visual outcomes.

Currently, Dr. Ershadul Haque Rahat is available for consultation at Retina Glaucoma Center & Superspecialty Eye Hospital (RGC Eye Hospital). His chamber schedule is Saturday (3:00 PM – 5:00 PM), Sunday (10:00 AM – 10:00 PM), Monday (5:00 PM – 7:00 PM), Tuesday (10:00 AM – 10:00 PM), Wednesday (5:00 PM – 7:00 PM), and Thursday (10:00 AM – 10:00 PM). Friday remains his weekly off day.
