Doctor Biography:

Dr. Atiqul Haque is an experienced Retina Specialist and Cataract Surgeon with expertise in the diagnosis and management of retinal diseases and modern cataract surgery. He is committed to providing comprehensive eye care through advanced diagnostic techniques, evidence-based treatment, and patient-centered clinical practice.

Dr. Haque completed his MBBS from Dhaka Medical College (DMC) and joined the Bangladesh Civil Service (BCS) Health Cadre. He subsequently earned the prestigious FCPS and MCPS (Ophthalmology), further strengthening his expertise in the field of ophthalmology.

To advance his clinical skills, Dr. Haque completed a Long-Term Fellowship in Vitreo-Retina at the National Institute of Ophthalmology & Hospital. This specialized training equipped him with extensive knowledge in the diagnosis and management of retinal disorders, including diabetic retinopathy, retinal vascular diseases, macular disorders, and other complex retinal conditions.

Throughout his professional career, Dr. Haque has been actively involved in the diagnosis, treatment, and management of a wide range of eye diseases. His clinical experience enables him to provide individualized care while utilizing modern ophthalmic technology to achieve the best possible visual outcomes for his patients.

His areas of special interest include Retina and Phaco (Cataract) Surgery. He is dedicated to delivering high-quality eye care with a focus on accurate diagnosis, advanced treatment, and compassionate patient care.

Currently, Dr. Atiqul Haque is available for consultation at Retina Glaucoma Center & Superspecialty Eye Hospital (RGC Eye Hospital). His chamber schedule is Saturday (5:00 PM – 7:00 PM), Monday (5:00 PM – 7:00 PM), and Wednesday (5:00 PM – 7:00 PM). He is not available on Sunday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday.
