Dr. Humaira Afrin is a dedicated Eye Specialist and Phaco Surgeon with experience in the diagnosis and management of a wide range of eye diseases. She is currently serving at the National Institute of Ophthalmology & Hospital, Dhaka, where she provides comprehensive ophthalmic care using modern diagnostic techniques and advanced treatment methods.

Dr. Afrin completed her MBBS from Dhaka and joined the Bangladesh Civil Service (BCS) Health Cadre. She subsequently earned FCPS (Ophthalmology), further enhancing her knowledge and clinical expertise in the field of ophthalmology.

Throughout her professional career, Dr. Afrin has been actively involved in the diagnosis, treatment, and management of various ophthalmic conditions. As a Phaco Surgeon, she is experienced in performing modern cataract surgery and is committed to delivering high-quality patient care with a focus on safety, precision, and optimal visual outcomes.

Her areas of special interest include Retina, General Ophthalmology, and Phaco (Cataract) Surgery. She believes in providing personalized, evidence-based treatment while utilizing the latest advancements in ophthalmology to preserve and restore vision.

Currently, Dr. Humaira Afrin is available for consultation at Retina Glaucoma Center & Superspecialty Eye Hospital (RGC Eye Hospital). Her chamber schedule is Saturday (11:00 AM – 1:00 PM), Monday (11:00 AM – 1:00 PM), and Thursday (11:00 AM – 1:00 PM). She is not available on Sunday, Tuesday, Wednesday, and Friday.
