He is currently serving as an Associate Professor at Ispahani Islamia Eye Institute & Hospital and as the Head of the Department of Uveitis and Retinopathy of Prematurity (ROP). He is widely recognized for his dedication to delivering advanced eye care and preserving vision through modern medical and surgical treatments.
Dr. Malek completed his MBBS and subsequently earned the prestigious qualifications of FCPS, FICO, and FRCS (Glasgow). These professional achievements reflect his advanced clinical knowledge and commitment to excellence in the field of ophthalmology.
To further strengthen his expertise, he completed a Fellowship in Vitreo Retina from Ispahani Islamia Eye Institute & Hospital (IIEI&H). He also completed a Fellowship in Uvea in New York, USA, where he received specialized training in the diagnosis and management of uveitis and other complex inflammatory eye diseases.
Throughout his professional career, Dr. Malek has been actively involved in clinical practice, surgical care, and academic activities. As a Vitreo Retina Surgeon and Uvea Specialist, he has successfully managed patients with retinal diseases, uveitis, diabetic eye disease, retinal vascular disorders, and various sight-threatening ocular conditions. He also has significant expertise in the management of Retinopathy of Prematurity (ROP), helping protect the vision of premature infants through timely diagnosis and treatment.
