Dr. S.M. Fahad is a dedicated Eye Specialist and Phaco Surgeon with expertise in the diagnosis and treatment of a wide range of eye diseases. He is currently serving at the National Institute of Ophthalmology and Hospital and is also a Consultant at Retina Glaucoma Center & Superspecialty Eye Hospital (RGC Eye Hospital). He is committed to providing comprehensive ophthalmic care through modern diagnostic techniques and advanced cataract surgery.

Dr. Fahad completed his MBBS and subsequently earned the Diploma in Ophthalmology (DO) from Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujib Medical University (BSMMU). He also joined the Bangladesh Civil Service (BCS) Health Cadre, demonstrating his dedication to serving patients through government healthcare services and specialized ophthalmic practice.

To further strengthen his surgical expertise, Dr. Fahad completed Long-Term Training in Phaco Surgery, where he received advanced training in modern cataract surgery techniques. His specialized training enables him to perform phacoemulsification surgery with precision, helping patients achieve improved vision through safe and effective treatment.

Throughout his professional career, Dr. Fahad has been actively involved in the diagnosis, treatment, and management of various ophthalmic conditions. His experience in a leading tertiary eye care institution has enabled him to provide personalized, evidence-based treatment while utilizing the latest advancements in ophthalmology.

His areas of special interest include General Ophthalmology and Phaco (Cataract) Surgery. He is dedicated to delivering compassionate, patient-centered care while maintaining the highest standards of clinical excellence.
