Doctor Biography:

Dr. Saroar Alam Nahid is a dedicated Eye Specialist and Phaco Surgeon with expertise in the diagnosis and treatment of a wide range of eye diseases. He is currently serving as an Assistant Professor at President Abdul Hamid Medical College, Kishoreganj. He is committed to providing comprehensive ophthalmic care through modern diagnostic techniques, advanced cataract surgery, and laser-based treatments.

Dr. Nahid completed his MBBS from Shahjalal University of Science and Technology (SUST) and subsequently earned the Diploma in Ophthalmology (D.Opth) from Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujib Medical University (BSMMU). To further enhance his surgical skills, he completed specialized training in IOL and Phaco Surgery at Ispahani Islamia Eye Institute & Hospital (IIEI&H).

Throughout his professional career, Dr. Nahid has been actively involved in clinical practice, patient care, and academic teaching. His experience enables him to diagnose and manage a broad spectrum of eye diseases while providing modern cataract surgery and comprehensive ophthalmic treatment with a patient-centered approach.

His areas of special interest include General Ophthalmology, Phaco (Cataract) Surgery, LASER Procedures, and the diagnosis and management of Diabetic Retinopathy. He is dedicated to delivering evidence-based eye care while utilizing the latest advancements in ophthalmology to preserve and restore vision.

Currently, Dr. Saroar Alam Nahid is available for consultation at Retina Glaucoma Center & Superspecialty Eye Hospital (RGC Eye Hospital). His chamber schedule is Tuesday (5:00 PM – 8:00 PM).
