Dr. Sayed Abdul Wadud is an experienced Retina Specialist and Phaco Surgeon with expertise in the diagnosis and management of retinal diseases, diabetic eye disorders, and modern cataract surgery. He is currently serving as a Consultant at Lions Eye Institute & Hospital. He is committed to providing comprehensive ophthalmic care through advanced diagnostic techniques, laser treatment, and evidence-based surgical management.
Dr. Wadud completed his MBBS from Dhaka University (DU) and subsequently earned the Diploma in Ophthalmology (D.Opth) from Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujib Medical University (BSMMU). To further strengthen his surgical expertise, he received specialized Micro-Surgery Training at the Lions Eye Institute & Hospital (LEIH), enhancing his skills in modern ophthalmic microsurgical procedures.
Throughout his professional career, Dr. Wadud has been actively involved in the diagnosis, treatment, and management of a wide range of eye diseases. His clinical experience enables him to provide comprehensive retinal care while utilizing modern laser technology and advanced cataract surgery techniques to achieve the best possible visual outcomes.
His areas of special interest include Retina, Phaco (Cataract) Surgery, Laser Procedures, and the diagnosis and management of Diabetic Retinopathy. He is dedicated to delivering personalized, evidence-based eye care while utilizing the latest advancements in ophthalmology.
Currently, Dr. Sayed Abdul Wadud is available for consultation at Retina Glaucoma Center & Superspecialty Eye Hospital (RGC Eye Hospital). His chamber schedule is Sunday (4:00 PM – 8:00 PM) and Thursday (4:00 PM – 8:00 PM).
