Panretinal Photocoagulation (PRP) is a type of laser treatment for the eye. It is used in people who have developed new abnormal blood vessels at the back of the eye in the retina or in the drainage system within the eyeball.
Glaucoma drainage devices are made up of a small silicone tube (less than 1 mm in diameter) attached to a plate. The silicone tube is inserted into the front of the eye (anterior chamber) allowing the aqueous humor to bypass the blocked drain of the eye (trabecular meshwork), thus lowering the eye pressure. It is a long established fact that a reader will be distracted by the readable content of a page when looking at its layout.
