Doctor Biography:

Dr. Parwas Mahtab is an experienced Orbit, Oculoplastic, Ocular Aesthetic, and Phaco Surgeon with expertise in the diagnosis and surgical management of eyelid, orbital, and lacrimal system disorders. He is currently serving as a Consultant at the Lions Eye Institute & Hospital. He is dedicated to providing advanced ophthalmic care through modern reconstructive, cosmetic, and cataract surgical techniques.

Dr. Mahtab completed his MBBS and subsequently earned the Diploma in Ophthalmology (DO) from Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujib Medical University (BSMMU). To further enhance his expertise, he completed a Fellowship in Oculoplastic Surgery and Ocular Oncology from Ispahani Islamia Eye Institute & Hospital (IIEI&H), receiving specialized training in the management of orbital diseases, eyelid disorders, ocular tumors, and reconstructive eye surgery.

Throughout his professional career, Dr. Mahtab has been actively involved in the diagnosis, treatment, and surgical management of a wide range of ophthalmic conditions. His specialized training enables him to perform functional and cosmetic eyelid surgeries, orbital procedures, ocular tumor management, and modern phacoemulsification cataract surgery with precision and care.

His areas of special interest include Oculoplasty & Cosmetic Surgery and Phaco (Cataract) Surgery. He is committed to delivering personalized, evidence-based care while utilizing the latest surgical techniques to achieve the best functional and aesthetic outcomes for his patients.

Currently, Dr. Parwas Mahtab is available for consultation at Retina Glaucoma Center & Superspecialty Eye Hospital (RGC Eye Hospital). His chamber schedule is Saturday (5:00 PM – 7:00 PM), Sunday (5:00 PM – 7:00 PM), Monday (5:00 PM – 7:00 PM), and Thursday (3:00 PM – 5:00 PM). He is not available on Tuesday, Wednesday, and Friday.
